Campbellsville Independent Schools students are eligible to receive free benefits in the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer program.
All CIS students receive free lunch and are eligible for the new benefit.
Because of COVID-19, students have lost access to free meals. This program provides funds to help families buy food.
Those who currently receive SNAP benefits will automatically see an additional $313.50 on their card.
Students who receive Medicaid or KTAP benefits, or are in foster care, will automatically receive a P-EBT card in the mail with instructions.
Students who don’t currently receive those benefits can complete an online application at benefind.ky.gov.
Information needed to apply includes student name, address, birth date and statewide student identification number. This number can be retrieved in Infinite Campus.
Applications are open for 30 days, beginning Monday, June 1.
All students who attend Community Eligible Provision Schools are eligible to receive the benefit.
