CHS students learn about safe driving

Campbellsville High School juniors recently learned the importance of driving safely.

Wade Flowers, a State Farm insurance agent, came to CHS recently to discuss some techniques to help keep students safe as they begin to drive.

Flowers said students should never text and drive, should always pay attention to the road and to avoid any distractions while behind the wheel.

Campbellsville Police Chief Mitch Bailey and Taylor County Coroner Daniel Cook also spoke to students about the dangers of driving.

Bailey spoke to students about how poor decisions can change many lives.

And Cook said students should understand that choices have lasting consequences.
