CES students celebrate Color Week

Campbellsville Elementary School kindergarten students are spending several weeks studying colors.

Students in Lisa Wiseman’s, Ann-Michael Tucker’s, Nikki Price’s, Lindsey Muncie’s and Shirley Cox’s classes began celebrating Color Week earlier this school year and will continue for several weeks.

Each week, students study all about a specific color and then dress in that color on Thursday.

Students read books about the color, list objects that are always that color, taste foods that are the color of the week and much more.

Eventually, students will study the colors red, yellow, blue, green, orange, white, gray, brown, black, pink and purple.

The week of Sept. 30, students studied the color pink.
