CES preschool students learn about being a police officer

Campbellsville Elementary School preschool students recently learned what it’s like to be a police officer.

Kentucky State Police Sgt. Jason Morris came to speak to Shannon Richardson’s students about his career and duties as a trooper.

Morris told students about the equipment he wears and his uniform.

He also spoke to students about how to be safe when trick-or-treating on Halloween.

Morris also showed students his police cruiser and let them sit inside.

He gave the students a teddy bear, named Trooper Teddy, to keep them safe in their classroom.

Students were also given junior deputy badges.
