iEagle students raise money for local children, the homeless

Campbellsville Independent Schools iEagle students recently performed a community service project to raise money for local children and the homeless population in Taylor County.

On Friday, Sept. 20, seventh-grader Rowan Petett and several other students hosted a lunch fundraiser.

Petett and the Boys fundraiser raised about $550, to be donated to Green River Ministries homeless shelter, Campbellsville Elementary School Family Resource Center and Campbellsville Middle and High School Youth Services Center.

iEagle students were in charge of cooking the food, collecting orders and preparing the lunches.

To donate to the effort, call (270) 465-5121.
