iEagle students plan for the future

Campbellsville Independent Schools iEagle students recently learned about planning for the futures.

Students were placed in groups and asked to make a financial plan for their future.

The students were given a salary, based on their career goals.

With their salary, students had to pay for a home, child care, insurance, entertainment, clothing, medical costs and much more.

The students learned how to write checks to pay for their bills each month, and kept a ledger of their spending.

Students were asked to calculate their costs of living per month, to see what money was left.
