Campbellsville High School students and staff members are helping save lives.
The school’s National Honor Society chapter hosted a blood drive on Friday, Sept. 6.
Twenty five people donated.
Kentucky Blood Center officials were on hand to help students, teachers, staff members, parents and community members donate.
This was the first drive of the school year.
The National Honor Society hosts several blood drives each school year.
Members coordinate all the scheduling, documenting and escorting students and teachers who donate throughout the day.
The drives are one of the entirely student-led activities at CHS.
At the end of the school year, Kentucky Blood Center officials award a scholarship to one of the CHS NHS members.
Susan Dabney is the NHS sponsor.
