Campbellsville Middle School recently named its Exceeding Eagles for the week of Aug. 26.
Students who receive the Exceeding Eagle award are those who go above and beyond inside and outside of the classroom, accomplish a goal they didn’t believe possible and excel in their academics and extra-curricular activities.
A male and female student in each grade level receive the honor each week.
Sixth-graders receiving the honor are Madison Philpott and Zarek Stone.
Seventh-graders honored are Piper Maggard and Casey Morris.
Eighth-graders named Exceeding Eagles were Piper Ritchie and Dalton Morris.
And iEagle students receiving the award are Nadia Taylor and Levi Young.
Ritchie’s teachers say she is a positive addition to her classes, and is prepared for class and always gives her best effort.
“She is cooperative and helpful to her classmates when they need assistance,” her teachers said.
Morris’s teachers say he shows effort and focus on his classwork and is willing to ask questions and contribute to class discussions.
“Dalton is a quiet but positive role model for his peers.”
