Campbellsville Independent Schools’ students have headed back to the classroom.
Students began the 2019-2020 school year on Wednesday, Aug. 14.
Students at Campbellsville elementary, middle and high school schools headed back to class at 8 a.m. and were greeted by their teachers.
Kindergarten students spent the morning learning classroom rules and the proper way to walk in the hallways. They also spent time coloring and reading stories.
CES houses students in preschool through fifth grade.
Preschool students will begin their school year on Monday, Aug. 19.
At CMS, which is home to sixth- through eighth-graders, eighth-graders began their last year of middle school and sixth-graders adjusted to their new school.
And at CHS, students spent the day doing classwork to help them become college and career ready and seniors experienced their last first day of high school.
At the new iEagle campus, fourth-, fifth-, sixth- and seventh-grade students enjoyed getting to know each other and had fun with several team-building activities.
The 2019-2020 school year is set to end on Friday, May 22.
