CHS boys’ basketball award winners announced

Campbellsville High School boys’ basketball award winners were recently announced.


Players were recognized and honored for their performance during the 2019-2020 season.


Award winners follow.


Varsity 110 Percent Award – Senior Mikael Vaught.


Varsity Field Goal Percent Award – Senior Malachi Corley, at 47.6 percent.


Varsity Three-Point Field Goal Percent Award – Junior Tristin Faulkner, at 39.8 percent.


Varsity Free Throw Percent Award – Junior Arren Hash, at 75.9 percent.


Varsity Most Points Award – Senior Malachi Corley, at 526.


Varsity Leading Rebounder Award – Senior Malachi Corley, at 254.


Varsity Steals Leader Award – Senior Malachi Corley, at 70.


Varsity Leading Assist Award – Senior Malachi Corley, at 135.


Varsity Defensive Award – Senior Mikael Vaught and junior Arren Hash.


Varsity Deflection Award – Senior Malachi Corley, at 145.


Varsity Most Charges Taken – Senior Mikael Vaught, at 10.


Varsity Most Improved Award – Junior Arren Hash.


Varsity Ultimate Teammate Award – Senior Jimmy Russell.


Freshman Coaches Award – Freshman Chase Hord.


Junior Varsity Coaches Award – Junior Reggie Thomas.


Varsity Coaches Award – Senior Mikael Vaught.


Anthony Epps has completed his first year as CHS boys’ basketball head coach.


Assistant coaches are Ben Davis, Will Griffin, Ricky Smith-Cecil and Chris “Scoop” Smith.
