CHS names Leaders of the Year

Campbellsville High School recently named its Leaders of the Year for the 2019-2020 school year.

 

Students honored are freshman Levi Dicken, sophomore Peyton Dabney, junior Abi Wiedewitsch and senior Zoe McAninch.

 

Four students are honored each week of the school year with the Leader of the Week award.

 

At the end of the year, all students who have received the Leader of the Week honor are eligible to receive the Leader of the Year award.

 

Teachers and staff members vote on the winners.

 

Dicken received the honor for his academics and athletics involvement.

 

He is inquisitive and a joy to have in class, Dicken’s teachers say.

Dabney received the honor for representing himself, his school and community with pride.

 

His teachers say he loves to learn and always makes his classmates smile.

Wiedewitsch received the award for her dedication to her studies and extracurriculars.

 

Her teachers say she is kind-hearted, always willing to help her classmates and teammates and is a great mentor to others.

McAninch received the honor for her exceptional academics and school pride.

 

Her teachers say she is inquisitive, dependable and a great example to younger students.
