CHS girls’ basketball player joins 1,000 Point Club

Campbellsville High School girls’ basketball player Briante Gowdy recently joined the school’s 1,000 Point Club.

 

Gowdy, a sophomore, scored her 1,000 point for the Lady Eagles during the varsity game vs. Adair County on Friday, Feb. 7.

 

The Lady Eagles picked up the win, by a score of 44-20.

 

In all, Gowdy led her team with 11 points.

 

She was honored for becoming the newest member of the 1,000 Point Club after the win.

 

David Petett is in his first year as head coach.

 

Assistant coaches are Katie Wilkerson, Tiarra Cecil and Debbie Gowdy-Smith.
