CHS girls’ basketball player breaks school record

Campbellsville High School girls’ basketball player Lainey Watson recently broke a school record.

 

Watson, a sophomore, now holds the record for the most three-point field goals made in a game, in both CHS girls’ and boys’ basketball history.

 

During the Lady Eagles game vs. Caverna on Tuesday, Feb. 11, Watson scored nine three-point shots.

 

In all, Watson had 30 points on the night.

 

David Petett is in his first year as head coach.

 

Assistant coaches are Katie Wilkerson, Tiarra Cecil and Debbie Gowdy-Smith.
