CHS cheerleader to continue career at CU

Campbellsville High School senior cheerleader Kaleigh Hunt will continue her academic and cheerleading career at Campbellsville University this fall.

Kaleigh Hunt recently signed her letter of intent in a special ceremony at CHS.

CHS Principal Weston Jones said he is proud that Hunt is pursuing a college degree while continuing her cheerleading career.

“We are excited here at Campbellsville High School,” he said. “I think a lot of Kaleigh.

“Everybody knows her. I know she’s a great young lady. Campbellsville University is definitely getting an outstanding young lady.”

Jones said Hunt will represent CU well, and she will always take care of her academic work.

“Always smiling,” Jones said. “And a face we will definitely miss her at CHS.”

CHS cheerleading coaches are Lisa Wiseman and Nikki Price.
