Campbellsville High School Beta Club members brought home several awards on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at the annual Central Kentucky Beta Invitational.
The invitational features competitions in talent, service, math, English, social studies, science, agriculture, speech, poetry, Spanish, advertising design, art and more.
CHS students won the following awards.
Gracyne Hash, a senior, won first place in the performing arts competition.
Anna Clara Moura, a junior, and sophomore Bia Moura received second place.
And Gavin Johnson, a senior, was third.
In the service learning showcase category, seniors Zoe McAninch and Lauryn Agathen won second place.
Sydney Wilson, Kaleigh Hunt and Taliyah Hazelwood, seniors, won third place in marketing and communications.
In black and white photography, sophomore Blake Settle won first place.
Jewell Cox, a senior, won third place in color photography.
In apparel design, seniors Emily Rodgers, Gavin Johnson, Sydney Wilson and Kaleigh Hunt won first place.
Hash received third place in creative writing.
In painting, senior Aleah Knifley was first.
Ronin Smith, a freshman, was third in digital art. He also received second place in recyclable art.
In mixed media, senior Haleigh Murphy was second place.
Katelyn Miller, a senior, was second on the agri-science exam.
Peyton Dabney, a sophomore, finished third on the social studies exam.
Anna Clara Moura was third on the Spanish exam.
And Johnson received third place in woodworking.
CHS Beta students will compete at the state Beta convention on Jan. 19-21 in Louisville.
Science teacher Lauren Bennett is the Beta sponsor.
