Hi! My name is Jo Ann Harris and I teach both CMS and CHS Art.

A little bit about me. This will be my 6th year teaching art at CMS and CHS. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Art from Campbellsville College after which I did commercial art in Cincinnati, Hodgenville, Greensburg and Campbellsville. Later I received my teaching certification and my Teacher Leader Masters in Special Education from Campbellsville University.

I have 2 sons. One will be an 8th grader this year at CMS. The other will be a sophomore at Northern Kentucky University.

My favorite artists are Vincent van Gogh and Chihuly, totally different types of artists. But the works of both men are very vibrantly colored, which is one of the things that I love.

I like to paint in oils and acrylics. I'm not much of a watercolorist. I don't feel like I have enough control. But maybe you will love it. I also do a lot with Sharpies and Prismacolors.
