CMS, CHS students participate in all-district choir

 

Campbellsville middle and high school students were recently chosen to participate in this year’s Fourth District all-district chorus on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 16 and 17.

 

CMS students chosen to participate include seventh-graders Kaylyn Lawson, Mellany Parker and Ellie Wise and eighth-graders Hunter Williams and Luke McDonald.

 

CHS students chosen to participate include freshmen LeeAnna Darst, Kadence Houk and Zeke Bell.

CHS art students create monochromatic paintings

 

Campbellsville High School art students recently made their own monochromatic paintings.

 

In Jo Ann Harris’s class, students learned that monochromatic paintings are created by using shades and tints of one color.

CHS seniors learn about college

 

Campbellsville High School seniors learned all about college on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

 

Students attended a college fair at Campbellsville University’s Powell Athletic Center.

 

Representatives from several colleges and universities in Kentucky came to talk to students.

CHS FCA group to host See You at the Pole

 

Campbellsville High School’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes group will host its annual See You at the Pole event on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

 

Students, teachers, administrators, staff members and members of the Campbellsville/Taylor County community are invited to the CHS flagpole at 7:15 a.m.

 

The time will be used for those attending to come together to pray for schools, the community and nation.
