Mask Update Oct. 25, 2021

Campbellsville Independent School District Board of Education made a decision this past Monday night to allow mask's to be optional for students and staff as long as the county incidence rate was 75 or below. We are pleased to share with you that our county rate as of today is 22.2, putting our county in the orange category. Therefore, starting Monday October 25 students and staff will have the option to wear a mask or not until further notice. Students will still have to follow the federal mandate of masking while riding a bus to and from school and during extracurricular trips.

Our schools will continue to follow our current mitigation strategies like thoroughly disinfecting our schools, encouraging proper cough hygiene and social distancing when possible.

We will be monitoring COVID data daily and if the case rate increases or if we have an outbreak of cases in our District then we will reevaluate and possibly have to ask everyone to remask.

The health and safety of our students and staff will always be our top priority.

If anything changes it will be posted on all social media outlets and via a one call.

Once again, wearing a mask will be optional starting Monday October 25 for all students and staff in the CISD.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to give us a call at 270-465-4162.

Thanks and have a blessed day!
