Dr. Bruce Kessler, the Math Department Chair for Western Kentucky University, kicked off the Summer STEM Academy for CMS and CHS students. Dr. Kessler used math concepts to teach about sound, Newtons theories and Nerf projectiles. The remaining days were spent building robots, computer programming, studying science on Green River, planting a perennial garden and visiting the Ky Science Center.  The 2-week camp was a huge success and kept students engaged in STEM activities during the summer.   Click here for STEM Camp photos.
