4th-6th Grade Art
View Events/Assignments for
In our 4th-6th grade art classes we will begin with the basics. We will start with learning rules and procedures then move on to introducing ourselves using art. We will learn how to communicate with art and why art is important. We will talk a lot about the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design...and, of course, we will make stuff. That's the best part, right?
Please, check the syllabus and rubric in the "Forms/Links" area. The syllabus outlines my expectations for you and for myself. The rubric is a basic grading scale for this class. For certain projects the rubric may be different, in which case that will be explained prior to beginning the project. If you ever have any questions concerning a project and/or grade, please, feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or text/call me at 270-403-4733. I want you to have a great semester in art and will do whatever I can to ensure that you do. But, you have to do your part; come to class prepared with pencil and notebook in hand, a good work ethic and positive attitude and we will have a great time!
The rubric determines the standard grading system for art projects. The rubric may be different for some projects but that will be discussed prior to beginning the project.
