CHS boys’ basketball team runner-up in All ‘A’ Classic

 

Campbellsville High School boys’ basketball team is this year’s runner-up in the fifth region All “A” Classic.

 

CHS took on Fort Knox on Friday, Jan. 20, and, despite battling to the end, couldn’t come up with the win.

 

Final score was 50-58.

 

CHS is the runner-up in this year’s fifth regional All “A” Classic tournament. From left are junior Connor Wilson, freshman Malachi Corley, senior Ricky Smith-Cecil, juniors Toyse Cox and Ethan Lay, senior Zack Bottoms, juniors Tyrion Taylor and Chanson Atkinson, senior Darius Bell, sophomore Davon Cecil, sophomore Lane Bottoms and junior Logan Cole.

CMS eighth-grade basketball team advances in CKMSAC tournament

 

Campbellsville Middle School boys’ eighth-grade basketball team remains perfect this season and advances to the second round of the Central Kentucky Middle School Athletic Conference tournament.

 

On Friday, Jan. 20, the CMS seventh- and eighth-grade teams played Casey County in the first round of the tournament.

Progress made on new CES gym floor

 

Work is progressing on Campbellsville Elementary School’s new gym floor.

 

Soon, students will have class and play sports in a renovated gymnasium.

 

The gym floor will soon feature a new design, and the walls in the gymnasium are being painted.

CHS show choir prepares for spring concert

 

Campbellsville High School show choir members are busy preparing for their spring show.

 

The show is entitled “Best of the 90s” and will be presented on Saturday, March 18, at 6:30 p.m. at Hamilton Auditorium.

 

The performance is free and open to the public.
