CES second-graders learn about warm, cool colors

Campbellsville Elementary School second-graders recently learned about warm and cool colors.

In Adrienne Hash’s art class, students practiced what they learned by doing some drawing and coloring.

Students were asked to draw a face, with one side colored with cool colors purple, blue and green, and the other side featuring warm colors red, yellow and orange.

One side featured a happy emotion, and the other side portrayed a sad face.

The activity helped students with their drawing skills and to learn how to effectively use color to convey emotion.
