Campbellsville Elementary School students recently took their Accelerated Reader points shopping.
Accelerated Reader is a motivational program used to help students develop reading skills.
Students read books and answer questions about them. The student is awarded points based on how many questions they answer correctly on the quiz.
AR isn’t required at CES, though many students participate.
Students can spend their points at the school’s Family Resource and Youth Services Center Accelerated Reader store.
Students can buy items such as pencils, erasers, pencil grips, bookmarks, bracelets and much more.
