CHS senior joins 1,000-point club

Campbellsville High School senior Nena Barnett has recently joined her school’s 1,000-point club.

 

In the CHS girls’ basketball season-opening game on Tuesday, Nov. 28, against Caverna, Barnett led her team with 24 points.

 

The points are enough for her to join the school’s elusive 1,000-point club.

 

Barnett also had 11 rebounds and five steals, along with three assists.

 

She will be recognized at a future game and presented with a 1,000-point club basketball.

 

Anthony Epps is the CHS girls’ basketball head coach.

 

Assistant coaches are Katie Wilkerson, Natalia Warren, George Eon and Debbie Gowdy-Smith.
