CES students focus on reading

Campbellsville Elementary School students are focusing on reading.

Each day, reading interventionist Laura Dicken works with students to expand their vocabulary, strengthen their reading skills and write and spell words.

Recently, Dicken’s first-grade students read a book about butterflies.

Students are asked to take their books home each night and read with their parents, and then read the books again with their classmates at school.
