Campbellsville High School recently announced its academic achievers for November.
A boy and a girl from each grade level are named, and were recognized at the Campbellsville Board of Education’s meeting on Monday, Nov. 13.
Those recognized include:
Abi Wiedewitsch is the daughter of Beth and Mark Wiedewitsch. Her favorite teacher is Lauren Bennett and biology is her favorite subject. She enjoys playing basketball and softball and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Beta clubs. Her future plans are to attend college and work in the science field.
Kameron Smith is the son of Kirby and Andrea Smith. His favorite teacher is Tyler Hardy and he enjoys playing baseball, basketball and golf and being a member of Beta and Student Council. His future plans are to attend college and major in physical therapy.
Blake Allen is the son of Jaclyn Bottoms and Shawn Allen. He enjoys playing baseball and football. His favorite subject is math and Cheryl Dicken is his favorite teacher. His future plans are to become an aerospace engineer.
Sydney Wilson is the daughter of Shelly Wilson and Robbie Wilson. She enjoys cheerleading, softball and Beta Club. Lauren Bennett is her favorite teacher. Her future plans are to become an early childhood educator.
Elizabeth Sullivan is the daughter of Randell and Cheryl Sullivan. She enjoys band, academic team, KYA, Kuna and Beta. Social studies is her favorite subject and Lindsay Williams is her favorite teacher. Her future plans are to attend University of Kentucky or Vanderbilt University and pursue a degree in law or medicine.
Ryan Kearney is the son of Lynn and Lisa Kearney. He enjoys baseball, FCA, Beta, Pep Club, STLP and Y-Club. Kevin Rafferty is his favorite teacher and math is his favorite subject. His future plans are to attend college and play baseball.
Sydney Jeong is a foreign exchange student and her host parents are Martha and Michael Harrison. Her favorite teacher is Lindsay Williams and English is her favorite class. She plans to attend college and major in graphic design, photography, drama and theater.
Wyatt Houk is the son of Kristie Graybeal and Josh Houk. He enjoys playing baseball and Beta Club. Math is his favorite class. He wants to attend Western Kentucky University to study physical therapy.
