CES students learn about primary, secondary colors

Campbellsville Elementary School second-grade students are learning about primary and secondary colors.

And, along with their lesson, students recently mixed primary paints to make secondary colors and then used them to paint a parrot.

In Adrienne Hash’s art class, students learned how to use red, yellow and blue to make orange, green and purple. Then, the students took brushes and made the colors.

Afterward, Hash painted with students as they used their new colors to paint their parrots.

Students learned different brush techniques as they perfected their paintings.
