CES students practice making predictions

Campbellsville Elementary School students recently used pumpkins to perform a science experiment.

In Marcia Sharp’s class, students are learning how to make scientific predictions.

To test their skills, students were given a small and medium pumpkin and asked to predict how much they weigh.

Students were also asked to predict the circumference of their pumpkins and how many lines there are on the pumpkins.

Next, students predicted whether their pumpkins would float.

Before weighing and measuring their pumpkins, students were asked to compare and contrast their small and medium pumpkins.
