CES students tour post office

Campbellsville Elementary School students recently saw firsthand how mail is delivered.

CES second-graders recently took a tour of the Campbellsville Post Office.

Students saw how mail is sorted and learned about the many different types of items that can be mailed, from bees to baby chicks to other animals.

While at the post office, students saw mail being sorted and were able to use the post office’s robot that tells workers what routes correspond with packages.

Students saw the inside of a mail truck, weighed themselves on the post office’s large scale and each mailed a letter they had written to their parents.
