CIS students, teachers compete in 5K race

Campbellsville Independent Schools’ teachers and students competed in a 5K race on Saturday, Aug. 19, to raise money for the Taylor County Distinguished Young Woman organization.

 

This year’s DYW competition is set for Saturday, Sept. 16, at 6 p.m. in the Taylor County High School auditorium.

 

CHS seniors Caitlin Bright and Kayla Young will compete.

 

Bright and Young participated in the 5K race to raise money for the DYW organization.

 

Campbellsville Elementary School exceptional child educator Amber Johnson, Campbellsville Middle School bookkeeper Natalia Warren and CMS teacher Katie Campbell also participated.
