CES third-graders have fun at Green River Lake

Campbellsville Elementary School third-grade students recently had a day of fun at Green River Lake.

 

Students toured the Visitors Center, enjoyed lunch at the pavilion and had fun playing on the playground.

 

At the visitor center, Park Ranger David Goode talked to students about the importance of water safety. He told students they should always wear life jackets while at the lake.

 

Students also toured the Atkinson-Griffin Log House, seeing a map of the battle at Tebbs Bend, confederate and federal uniforms and more.

 

Third-grade teachers are Patty Haley, Marcia Sharp, Hannah Jones and Doretha Sanders.
