Campbellsville elementary and middle schools are searching for AmeriCorps FRYSC literacy tutors for the upcoming 2017-2018 school years.
The full-time positions are paid $1,052.50 a month.
FRYSC Corps is a Kentucky AmeriCorps literacy program geared toward providing school-aged children with basic needs so they can be successful students.
Tutors at CES and CMS will work directly with students, helping them strengthen their reading comprehension skills.
The tutors are based in the Family Resource and Youth Services Center, where they will support and lead programs that help students with housing, clothing, health and mental health services and career and college readiness preparation.
Campbellsville FRYSC is looking for tutors who are motivated to help students succeed.
Ideal candidates will have experience in childcare, teaching and/or tutoring. Great fits include recent college graduates, including new teachers looking for more experience, and people returning to the workforce or retirees.
The tutors will report to FRYSC Director Sue Crabtree and the principal, Elisha Rhodes at CES and Zach Lewis at CMS.
Benefits also include a living and education allowance, health insurance and more.
For more information, contract Crabtree at (270) 849-3710 or email@example.com.
