CES first-graders play math games

Campbellsville Elementary School first-grade students recently had fun playing math games together.

In Hailey Ogle’s class, students spend time each day rotating to various math centers.

At the centers, students play math card games, flash cards and Dominos counting games. They also use dice to practice addition, count by measuring items, build with shapes and solve word problems.

Toward the end of the school year, students began learning geometry concepts.
