CES students learn about balance in art

Campbellsville Elementary School students recently learned about balance in nature and art.

In Adrienne Hash’s art class, students studied “Butterfly Painting” by Richard Ancheta and discussed how the artist created balance in his work.

As with real butterflies, Hash told her students, the painting is symmetrical.

After the lesson, students colored their own butterflies with symmetrical patterns.
