CES first-graders have fun at ice cream parties

Campbellsville Elementary School first-grade students recently had fun in their classrooms learning about camping, bubbles, popcorn, ice cream and the circus.

First-grade teachers recently led a week of activities for their students, focusing on a theme each day.

One of the themes was ice cream.

Students learned how ice cream is made and the many different toppings that can be added to the treat.

At the end of the day, students enjoyed an ice cream sundae bar.
