CHS names Leaders of the Year

Campbellsville High School recently named its Leaders of the Year for the 2016-2017 school year.

 

About 40 students from each class were named Leaders of the Week during the school year. From those students, teachers recently selected their nominations for Leader of the Year.

 

The Leader of the Year award is given to students who exhibit exceptional leadership skills, perform well academically, participate in community service clubs and organizations and are trustworthy, dependable and show overall good character.

 

This year’s Leaders of the Year are freshman Gavin Johnson, sophomore Jeremiah Jackson, junior Cody Davis and senior Kyrsten Hill.

 

Winners received a certificate signed by CHS Principal Kirby Smith and Campbellsville Independent Schools Superintendent Mike Deaton.

 

Gavin Johnson was recently chosen as the Leader of the Year for the freshman class in the 2016-2017 school year.
