CES students make keychains

Campbellsville Elementary School third-graders recently made keychains.

Third-grade students wanted to make a special gift for their mothers in honor of Mother’s Day.

To start their project, teachers traced letters using a special paper.

Students chose the letter in which their mother’s first or last names start with and then decorated the paper.

In Hannah Jones’s class, students wrote on the special paper, which was drawn like a piece of notebook paper. They wrote special letters to their mothers.

After students were finished decorating, teachers baked the letters.

When the papers were done in the oven, teachers added a key ring and students took their creations home.
