CHS tennis teams battle Washington County, Caverna

Campbellsville High School tennis teams recently took on Washington County and Caverna.

 

The girls’ team defeated Washington County by a score of 3-0.

 

CHS freshman Samantha Johnson won her singles match.

 

Doubles partners Mallory Haley, a senior, and freshman Victoria Cox and senior Shauna Jones and junior Sara Farmer also won their matches.

 

CHS senior Kyrsten Hill won her singles match against Caverna.

 

The CHS boys’ team defeated Washington County by a score of 3-2.

 

CHS junior Cody Davis won his singles match.

 

And the team defeated Caverna by a score of 5-0.

 

Davis won his singles match, as did junior Jackson Hunt and freshman Patrick Walker.

 

And doubles partners Zack Settle, a senior, and junior Cass Kidwell won their match.

 

Tyler Hardy coaches the boys’ team, and Bradley Harris is the girls’ team coach.

 

CHS girls’ and boys’ tennis teams will compete next in this year’s fifth region tournament in Elizabethtown, with first rounds set for Monday, May 8.
