The dress-up days coincided with genres of music. Those who dressed up entered their names into a drawing for prizes.

Monday was Country/Western Day.

Students and staff members wore their favorite cowboy/cowgirl outfits.

Tuesday was 1950s Day.

Students and staff members wore jeans, poodle skirts and slick-backed hair.

Wednesday was 1960s and 1970s Day.

Students and staff members wore tie-dye shirts and peace symbols.

Thursday was 1980s Day.

Students and staff members wore big hair, bright colors and layers.

And Friday was Beach Day.

To go along with the dress-up days, CES third-graders participated in a contest to make a homemade instrument.

All instruments were due at the school by Thursday, April 27, and they will be on display in the school library. Prizes for the best instruments will be awarded.

The week ended with a special performance on Friday morning by the Campbellsville University Steel Band.
