CHS names Eagle Excellence award winners

Campbellsville High School recently announced its Eagle Excellence award winners for March.

Eagle Excellence awards honor students who excel in eight specific academic areas. Winners are chosen each month, and can come from any grade level.

Teachers nominate students for the awards based on their performance in the classroom and their exemplary leadership skills.

Awards are given to students in the areas of science, English, vocational studies, art, social studies, math, music and foreign language studies.

When receiving the award, students are given a certificate signed by CHS Principal Kirby Smith and Campbellsville Independent Schools Superintendent Mike Deaton.

Award winners also have their photographs featured in a wooden case hung beside the CHS office.
