CES preschool students practice sorting

Campbellsville Elementary School preschool students are practicing sorting items.

Students recently played a game in which they were asked to sort a cup of jellybeans.

Without being given any other directions, the students sorted the jellybeans on a piece of a paper with different colors written on it.

When they got to the bottom of the cup, they found white jellybeans, but the word “white” wasn’t written on the paper.

Students had to problem solve and decide where to put those jellybeans.

Then, they had to tell teacher Sherry Cowherd what they did, and how they decided what to do.
