CES Art Club students make flowers

Campbellsville Elementary School students are having fun participating in the school’s Art Club.

CES art teacher Adrienne Hash sponsors the club, and invites students to join based on interest in art, an assessment they complete and their classroom performance.

Art Club students meet with Hash once a week during the school day to learn about artists and art techniques.

After they learn, the students spend time creating new artwork.

They also make centerpieces for the school’s leadership luncheons to honor students chosen as Leaders of the Month.

Recently, students made flowers out of colored paper to place on the tables at the luncheon, which is Wednesday, March 29.

There are about 25 students involved with the Art Club.
