CES students gear up for state testing

Campbellsville Elementary School third-graders are preparing for state testing, which is nearing.

Only the CES third-graders take K-PREP tests.

This year’s testing theme is “Survivor: Out Study, Out Score, Out Perform.”

CES students will test May 2-4.

To prepare, teachers are decorating the third-grade hallway with a jungle theme.

Students were given bonus points in their classes if they made totem pole boxes to help decorate.

And, teachers have hung a banner that they will use to count down the days until testing begins.

In the third-grade classrooms, teachers are working with students to study the content for the K-PREP exam.

According to scores for the 2015-2016 school year, CES third-graders tested at the highest level possible, making CES a School of Distinction.
