Campbellsville High School concert band students are preparing for an upcoming assessment.
Each year, the CHS concert band performs as part of the Kentucky Music Educators Association concert band assessment.
The band will perform on Wednesday, March 22, at John Hardin High School in Elizabethtown.
CHS will perform three pieces of prepared music and then sight-read a piece they haven’t seen before, and receive scores on how well they do.
This year, the band will perform “Arrows,” “Fort Canterbury March” and “Joy.”
CHS is set to perform those pieces at 2:45 p.m., and then sight read following.
Zach Shelton is the CHS concert band director.
