CES students have fun with Valentine math

Campbellsville Elementary School students recently had some fun with Valentine math.

In Luci Shofner’s first-grade class, students used Sweetheart candies to help practice counting and sorting.

Each student was given a handful of candies and then asked to sort them by color.

Students used a worksheet to graph how many candies they had of each color.

When they were finished, students could enjoy their candies as a snack.
