CES students celebrate outstanding test scores

Campbellsville Elementary School students are celebrating their outstanding test scores.

Based on students’ state test scores from the 2015-2016 school year, CES is a School of Distinction – which is the highest label the Kentucky Department of Education can give a public school.

CES students scored high enough to beat about 600 other elementary schools.

Also, CES is ranked as 130th in the state of the more than 700 elementary schools in Kentucky. Based on scores from the 2014-2015 school year, CES was ranked at 591st.

To celebrate their success, CES students were given School of Distinction t-shirts, thanks to generous sponsorships by Family Eyecare and Dr. Arthur Haley, Kentucky Farm Bureau and Agent Darrin Price and Community Trust Bank.

All CES students and employees wore their shirts to school on Friday, Feb. 24, to celebrate their success.
