CES students ‘level up’ with Lexia

Campbellsville Elementary School students who recently “leveled up” with the Lexia and Reading Plus programs were honored at a school-wide assembly on Friday, Feb. 24.

 

Lexia and Reading Plus are technology-based reading programs that help increase reading proficiency for pre-kindergarten students through high school seniors.

 

About 175 students were recognized at CES on Feb. 24 for increasing their reading proficiency level using the programs from Feb. 15 to Feb. 23.

 

Two classes were honored for meeting 100 percent usage on Lexia and/or Reading Plus for the week of Feb. 20. They include Amanda Greer’s first-grade class and Marcia Sharp’s third-grade class.

 

Kindergarteners honored include Gavin Williams, Aubreigh Knifley, Melody Ward, Luka Banta, Ayden Andrew, Tristan Burton, Jason Eggers, Michael Terry, Kira Dotson, Jewell Brewster, Marlee Dickens, Keagan Shearer, Ronnie Allen, Aubrey Allen, Cloud Malone, Joey Bledsoe, Quincy Travis, John Hagan Newton, Aleeya Spaulding, Gavin Paris, Miley Orberson, Jackson Wright, Enrique McDonald, Aubrey Novak and Braxton Rhodes.

 

First-graders honored include Giselle Moreno, Justice Albrecht, Joseph Boudreaux, Briana Wooley, Addysen England, Addelyn Dooley, Kevin Bradfield, Jacob Wethington, Ben Parrott, Brenden Chastain, Brody Sidebottom, Javion Milby, Jo’van Goins, Anna Keith, Logan Weddle, Alex Mixtega, Seeley Whitaker, Austin Hamilton, Madelyn Brunelle, Carter Wethington, Raleigh Spencer, Hunter Clark and Eric Epperson.

 

Second-graders honored include Sophia Santos, Malachi Sanford, Emerson Dengel, Damien Clark, Anthony Lawson, Isaya Adams, Marissa Sumners, Evan Lockridge, Lillian Wise, Lillian Burnett, Aaron Ritchie, Jayden Moore, Lanigan Price and Keylan Strong.

 

Third-graders honored include Eleana Brewer, Christian Hart, Isaiah Scharbrough, Cody Tamez, Toby Adams, Narissa Barnett, Zehavah Negron, Malikiah Spurling, Raeanna Jefferson, Tayshaun Hickman, Jayden Harris, Aidan Phillips and Chloe Bates.
