CMS ends Sweetheart Week with semi-formal dance

Campbellsville Middle School hosted several Sweetheart Week events last week, culminating with a semi-formal dance on Friday, Feb. 17.

The school had dress-up days each day this week. Students paid $1 each day to participate.

Monday was TV and Movie Character Day.

Tuesday was Tacky Tourist Day.

Wednesday was Dynamic Duo Day.

Thursday was Thrift Shop Finds Day.

Friday was a teacher work day, with students dismissed from class.

The school also hosted a hallway decorating contest this week, pitting each grade level against each other. The theme was “love.”

About 100 students attended the dance to end the week.

All proceeds from the week will go toward the Campbellsville High School band.
