CHS art students make banner

Campbellsville Independent Schools will be represented at this year’s Kentucky School Boards Association annual conference.

CHS National Art Honor Society member Kyrsten Hill, a senior, created a banner for display at the conference, which will be at the Galt House in Louisville on Feb. 24-26.

CHS students were asked to design a banner in Jo Ann Harris’s art class. The school’s National Art Honor Society members viewed the designs and selected one to create. Ben Arachi, a freshmen, created the winning design.

Arachi’s design is of a silhouetted man walking away from an explosion.

The banner also features this year’s conference theme, “Be a Superhero for Public Education.”

Campbellsville Board of Education members will attend the conference.

All schools represented at the conference are asked to make a banner.
