Campbellsville Elementary School third-grade students had several special guest teachers recently – Campbellsville Middle School fourth-grade teachers.
CMS fourth-graders recently went on a field trip with their third-grade teachers from last year to celebrate their very high K-PREP scores from the 2015-2016 school year.
As a result, CMS fourth-grade teachers served as substitutes for the current third-grade students.
This gave the CMS teachers a chance to teach in the building they will call home next year, and allow the current third-grade students an opportunity to meet the teachers they will have next school year.
Renovations at CES added four new classrooms to the building. As a result, fourth- and fifth-grade students will attend CES starting next school year.
The move will make CES a more traditional elementary school.
Students will move to CMS when they begin their sixth-grade year.
